Features

Snapshot Archive captures websites and stores every version. You pick the URLs, set a schedule, and we handle the rest: rendering each page in a headless browser, saving a full-length screenshot, and filing it away with a timestamp. When a page changes, you find out. When someone asks what a page looked like three months ago, you pull it up in seconds.

Every feature on this page exists because something broke without it. Change detection started after we watched users manually compare screenshots side by side (some had hundreds of them). PDF exports with SHA-256 hashes came from legal evidence requests where a plain screenshot wasn't enough to hold up in court. Alerts to Slack and Discord came from teams who told us they forgot to check the dashboard. We built what people kept asking for, and nothing they didn't.

Eight features. They work independently, but the real value shows up when you connect them. Scheduled captures feed into change detection, which triggers alerts, which link back to a visual diff where you can see exactly what moved. If you need a record for compliance archiving or financial regulators, export that diff as a certified PDF. The chain from "capture" to "courtroom-ready proof" runs without you touching it.

Our focus is visual: pixel-level diffs, full-page captures that scroll past lazy-loaded content, and watermarked screenshots that prove when a capture happened. Every snapshot also stores the page's raw HTML, so if you need to find a specific phrase or track a text change, you can search through the archived source directly. We're planning to make that search more convenient down the road, but even now the data is there. For law firms and competitor monitoring teams, that visual record paired with the underlying HTML covers most of what they need.

One detail worth knowing: screenshots hold more weight as evidence when they include cryptographic verification and an unbroken chain of custody. That's why our PDF exports bundle the image, the timestamp, and the SHA-256 hash into a single file. You don't need to explain how hashing works to a judge. You just hand over the PDF.
